Miss Winter’s Class
We’ve been learning all about halves and how they must be equal. It was fantastic to walk into the lunch hall and see the children using their learning - carefully cutting their cake in half, just like the problem we solved in class! 🍰

Today, we reflected on the bravery and sacrifice of those who served in WWII. Children explored real wartime artefacts, including soldiers’ helmets, binoculars and a pocket Bible. A powerful reminder of courage, faith and history.

Today we explored how the Holy Spirit is always present. We used a fan to feel the invisible power of air—just like the Spirit. Bubbles showed how the Spirit surrounds us. We then guided blindfolded partners, reflecting how the Spirit leads us through life.

✨ Celebration of the Word ✨
We reflected on the Parable of the Fig Tree and the power of second chances. Placing our hearts around the altar, we pledged to support and encourage each other to grow more like Jesus. ❤️

The children began counting in tens using tens frames to support their learning. They then explored tens and ones, creating different numbers up to 40. Fantastic maths work! 🔟✨

In Geography, we practiced our mapping skills by describing where the teddy bear was using directional language.🧸
We then used chalk to draw a map of the school grounds, adding symbols to represent key features. Fantastic teamwork and geography skills!
